Ian Nelson (born April 10, 1995) is an American actor who portrayed the District 3 male tribute in the 2012 film adaptation of The Hunger Games, and young Derek Hale in the television series Teen Wolf.
Personal life[]
Nelson is the son of Mark and Janie Nelson and is one of four children. He is also a trained singer, dancer, and actor, and has been featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City for the past three years.
Education[]
In 2011 and 2012 (10th and 11th grades), Nelson attended school at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, North Carolina.
