Legend of the Sea Crystals is an upcoming 2018 fantasy series, scheduled to premiere on MOX. The series will feature an ensemble cast topbilled by Nadine Lustre, James Reid, Kenzo Gutierrez, Kristel Fulgar, Angeline Quinto and Carmina Villaroel.
Production[]
When first announced, the series was going to focus on three different women who will find different crystals. However, as pre-production began on the series, cast Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber left the series, as management opted for them to star in their own series. The series was then tweaked to focus on Nadine Lustre's character, with James Reid acting as her love interest.
Filming[]
Legend of the Sea Crystals is set to begin filming on January 15, 2018.
Casting[]
During its announcement, MOX also announced the cast of the series, which included Nadine Lustre, Maymay Entrata, Yen Santos, James Reid, Edward Barber and Enzo Pineda.
On December 12, it was announced that Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber left the series. Kenzo Gutierrez, Kristel Fulgar, Carmina Villaroel and Angeline Quinto were added to the cast.
